My family owns a 2 acre regenerative Organic cotton farm in the Peruvian rainforest. Thanks to the Fair Trade price I earn, I built my own home, and pay for the education of my 4 children and my 2 grandchildren. I never had the opportunity to finish high school, so I am thrilled that they will all be more educated than me. Here I am with my daughter Claudia. I am proud that she will soon be a nurse.

We both learned to farm from our parents here in Peru. Now we work together on our small family farm producing regenerative organic pima cotton for partners like Fair American. Neither of us finished high school. Our dream is for our three children to have this opportunity.
